Hi! I’m Carlos.
Nice to meet you! I’m Carlos Eiene, also known as “insaneintherainmusic”. I’m an American / Filipino musician, specializing in video game music and jazz music. I compose music for video games, and also record instrumental performances for games, film, and other media. I’ve also created over 400 jazz arrangements of video game music on my YouTube channel insaneintherainmusic.
I was born in the greater Seattle area of Washington state here in the USA, and started playing piano at a young age. Soon after, I was introduced to wind instruments via my school band program, and eventually settled on saxophone as my primary instrument, though I do like to learn other instruments from time to time. Recently, I graduated from the Berklee College of Music 2020, majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production, and also minored in Video Game Scoring.
Video game music is my passion. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved playing video games, and I’ve also loved playing music. When I discovered that those two passions could be combined and you could play video game music on real instruments… my life changed forever. I’m dedicated to sharing my love for video game music with the world.
